Assessment
Our Occupational Therapists possess specialised expertise in wheelchair and seating prescription, having completed the evidence-based Wheelieworx training and holding current Wheelchair Warrior™ accreditation. We conduct comprehensive assessments of your functional capacity, as well as your home and community environments, to determine the most appropriate wheelchair solution to meet your individual needs.
Trial
Following the assessment, we will explore appropriate options currently available on the market and coordinate trials of a range of products that we believe may best meet your needs.
Prescription
Once the most suitable product has been identified, we will prepare the necessary reports and funding submissions to support your application. Upon approval and delivery, we will attend the handover session to ensure the equipment is set up correctly and that comprehensive training is provided, enabling you to use your new wheelchair system with confidence.
