Psychosocial Disability & Mental Health

What’s included

Assessment

We will complete an assessment to determine your current functional capacities and needs. This part of the process will include goal setting, including therapy goals and clear outcome measures.

Therapy

At Limitless Function Co., we provide structured, evidence-informed support for individuals living with psychosocial disability and mental health challenges. Our approach is grounded in practical, real-world outcomes—helping clients build the skills, insight, and consistency needed to improve daily functioning, relationships, and overall quality of life.

We draw on established therapeutic frameworks including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). These approaches allow us to support clients to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, while developing effective strategies for regulation, resilience, and meaningful engagement in everyday life.

Our style is compassionate, but clear and accountable. We prioritise building a strong therapeutic relationship/alliance, while also being direct about expectations and progress. Therapy is not passive—we work collaboratively with clients to set clear, concrete goals, break these down into achievable steps, and embed strategies into real-life routines and environments.

We see our role as guides and facilitators, not fixers. Fixing may be a focus but will not always be the primary focus as building functional capacity is often more important. We will provide the tools, structure, and support—but meaningful change comes from the client’s willingness to engage, practise, and apply strategies outside of sessions. We consistently reinforce personal responsibility, helping clients build confidence in their ability to take ownership of their progress.

Our services are particularly suited to individuals who benefit from:

  • Structured, practical therapy approaches

  • Clear expectations and direct communication

  • Support to translate insight into action

  • Building independence, routine, and emotional regulation skills

  • Reducing risk taking behaviours

Ultimately, our goal is to support each person to move toward a more independent, stable, and fulfilling life—on their own terms, with the right tools in place.

Evaluation

We will revisit your goals during the course of treatment to determine whether your goals have been met. This may be via standardised assessment or through observation.
